BEER
Beer has been a staple of British life for centuries. Back in the day, water wasn’t exactly safe to drink, so beer became the go-to thirst quencher – and let’s be honest, it’s a lot more fun! Pubs became the social hubs of towns and villages, where you’d catch up with mates after a long day’s graft and enjoy a well-earned pint. Beer wasn’t just a drink; it was a symbol of community, a way for people to relax and bond. From the industrial revolution to the local pub down the road, beer has always been there, helping to take the edge off after a hard day's work and keeping the good times flowing.
At The Signal Post, we’ve got eight taps pouring the good stuff. From Murphy’s Irish Stout, straight from County Cork, to Pilot by Ascension Cider, made from 100% fresh, wonky, supermarket-rejected apples.
We also have six taps with a rotating line-up of the best craft beers from Sussex and beyond. We love working with local legends like Silver Rocket Brewing, Loud Shirt Brewing Co., Arundel Brewery, Escapist Brew Co., and Unbarred Brewery. You never know what we’ll be pouring next, but you can count on something fresh, bold, and full of character.
